Atlanta Falcons vs New Orleans Saints matchup
It’s back to the Superdome as the New Orleans Saints (1-2) and Atlanta Falcons (1-2) meet in a Week 4 matchup in Monday Night Football.
The Falcons were beaten by the Steelers and Panthers in a poor start to the season but halted the slide last week with a win over the Packers at Lambeau Field.
Meanwhile, the Saints picked up a win over the Ravens in between defeats at the hands of the Lions and Raiders.
Both sides need some consistency and rhythm to start moving in the NFC South.
“We’ve only played three games. There’s nothing to panic about,” Saints’ Juwan Johnson said.
“We’re playing with a lot of strength, power, physicality, intelligence and speed. There’s just a few things we can clean up and we’ll be fine.”
The Saints are missing former Falcons kicker Caden Ellis, while linebacker Carl Granderson and linebacker Anfernee Jennings are also out.
The game marks the 20th anniversary of “Domecoming,” a popular game played between the same two teams in 2006 that helped begin the revitalization of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
