Jenelle Evans responded to ex David Easonis new romance with girlfriend Madi B.
“I’m glad my ex-husband has moved on,” she said Teenage mother alum, 34, tells exclusively Us in a statement on Friday, October 2nd. “But I wish it was someone I could actually introduce my daughter to one day, but I don’t think that’s going to happen.”
Jenelle shared her reservations about Madi B after she was “warned” about her previous employment.
“People across NC have warned me about her and I do not agree with her role as a chaperone,” Evans claimed. “My kids heard about this girl because they have TikTok and my daughter’s heart is broken. Hopefully he saves the beer money for child support.”
Jenelle also claimed that David, 38, “didn’t ask about her daughter Ensley” but had been in contact with her.
“David also hasn’t asked about Ensley since he left Florida, but he did text my daughter and apologize for how he treated her the day of our fight,” she claimed.
Madi B addressed Jenelle’s concerns in a statement Us.
“Maybe one day in the future we can talk about my past. For now, all I can say is that I am currently a nursing student and recently got a second job as a bartender,” said Madi B. “I understand that people may have an opinion about who I was or the choices I made, but none of that defines me. I am proud of the direction my life is taking and I will continue to move forward with it with grace, determination and faith. Everything I am not has made me who I am I am.”
David also addressed Jenelle’s statement, which was telling Us“Madi is too smart to let public drama get in her way. She has goals and ambitions that deserve her time far more than anyone else’s opinions or rumors. People only talk to be heard, not because what they say has any meaning.”
Jenelle and David tied the knot in 2017 after two years of dating. The couple welcomed daughter Ensley that same year. (Jenelle is also mom to son Jace, 17, whom she welcomed with ex Andrew Lewis, and son Kaiser, whom she shares with ex Nathan Griffith.)
In 2019, Jenelle and David temporarily separated but eventually reconciled. The couple finally ended things in 2024 when Jenelle filed for divorce.
Jenelle’s reaction to David’s new relationship comes a day after he confirmed his and Madi B’s romance Us.
“Madison and I have known each other for a few years, but we’ve never had the opportunity to get closer,” David said exclusively Us on Thursday, October 1st. “We used to look each other in the eye every time we saw each other in public. So far it’s just been bad timing.”
He continued, “I’m so glad to have met her and she treats me better than I could have ever imagined.”

David and Madi B sparked romance rumors last month when he posted a photo with Madi online. However, David initially downplayed their connection.
“Just friends by the way,” he wrote via Facebook on Sunday, September 27, while posing with Madi B on a boat in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Days later, Madi B raised eyebrows when she posted a video of her and David kissing.
“Friendships evolve, right,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, September 29.
