love storywhich aired from February to March, chronicled the real-life couple’s turbulent romance and untimely death in a plane crash in 1999.

Pidgeon received her first Emmy nomination for her portrayal of the fashion icon, but the television academy did not nominate Kelly, 37, for his role as the late president’s businessman son John F Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. She added: “I would love to work with him and everyone else on the show 10 times over and am so excited for the future recognition everyone receives.”
