Netflix is celebrating Christmas in July in the most unusual way – by adding a film starring a slightly unhinged Santa Claus who enjoys both sledding through the snow and killing his enemies.

Zathura is the rare family film that appeals to adults as much as it does children, while the biopic Talk to me is an adult drama with Don Cheadle as an iconoclastic shock athlete.
“Mighty Night” (2022)
Santa Claus (David Harbour) is real and he is angry. After years of witnessing humanity’s worst behavior, he has decided to retire after this year’s Christmas. While delivering his final presents to the Lightstone family home in a sleepy Connecticut suburb, Santa Claus receives a surprise present – he gets caught up in a hostage situation between the Lightstones and a gang of criminals led by Mr. Scrooge (John Leguizamo). Santa Claus has no choice but to save the day, and he’s willing to trade his sleigh for a big Uzi to save the nice Lightstones from the very naughty Mr. Scrooge.
Violent night Is Bad Santa Claus mixed with action pictures from the 80s Arnold Schwarzenegger‘S command or Sylvester Stallone‘S cobra. Harbor’s Santa Claus is a cynical Santa who doesn’t mind killing the bad guys to preserve the greater good. The film deserves the hard R rating, with lots of gratuitous violence and language so blue it would make the Grinch grimace. But it’s fun and spirited, and despite all the bloodshed, it celebrates everything that makes the holidays so special.

“Zathura” (2005)

SonyDo you remember the time when children’s films were good enough to appeal to adults? Jon Favreau’s charming 2005 film Zathura is a nostalgic throwback to the smart, family-friendly entertainment of the 1980s Explorer And Cloak and dagger. When the brothers Walter (Josh Hutcherson) and Danny (Jonah Bobo) discover an old board game called Zathura in their basement and can’t help but play it. To their surprise and delight, they discover that the game can distort reality. Cool, right? But the brothers soon realize that the game they are playing has a darker side that could endanger their lives and those of their loved ones.
Based on the popular children’s book of the same name Chris Van Allsburg. Zathura combines crazy science fiction concepts with a wholesome, family-friendly adventure. There’s a real sense of awe and danger every time the boys play the game, and you never know what surprises the game will throw at them – or at you. If you like that You Films with Dwayne Johnson And Jack Black But I wish they would take their fantastic premise a little more seriously, you should roll the dice and check out Zathura.

“Talk to Me” (2007)

First of all, he’s an ex-con who got his job by cheating on one of the executives, Dewey Hughes (Chiwetel Ejiofor). He also has no filter and expresses his sometimes difficult to understand opinions on current events and popular figures such as the founder of Motown Records Berry Gordy. His superiors want to fire him, but Dewey quickly realizes that Petey has a connection with the audience like no other. Soon, Petey becomes a national star, serving as his listeners’ cultural guide through the turbulent 1960s and 1970s.
Talk to me is the rare biopic about a person most people have either never heard of or forgotten. That’s what makes the film so fascinating – it tells the rags-to-riches story of a self-made man who forced his way into national consciousness. It helps that it’s set in the 1960s and 1970s, when the counterculture was in full swing and people like Petey were needed as a voice of reason, especially when Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered, and a voice of indignation. The film’s cast includes Cheadle, who is fantastic in the role of Petey Cedric the entertainer, Taraji P Henson And Martin Sheen.
