Bhad Bhabie is about to make a big career change.
“They said I was rich and bored,” the 23-year-old rapper wrote about X on Sunday, October 11, alongside mirror selfies in which she wore a black smock. “I’ve been working on getting my nursing license. I love the medical field.”
Despite changing careers, Bhabie appears to still be making music as she recently released her latest single, “What U Like.”
Bhabie (real name Danielle Bregoli) first became a viral sensation in 2016 at the age of 13. She appeared up Dr. Phil at the time her mother, Barbara Bregoli, sought help for the then-teenager’s severe behavioral problems. Her tagline on the show: “Catch me outside, how about that?” became an internet phenomenon.
Capitalize on it Dr. Phil fame, Bhabie launched a rap career. She signed with Atlantic Records and released her first single “These Heaux” in 2017, becoming the youngest rapper to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Bhabie released hits like “Hi Bich” and “Gucci Flip Flops.”
In 2024, Bhabie went viral again thanks to her feud with Bhabie Travis Barker‘s daughter Alabama Barker. At the time, she accused the 20-year-old Alabama man of stalking her partner. Le Vaughnwith whom Bhabie shares two-year-old daughter Kali Love. Alabama denied taking any action and claimed Le Vaughn, 27, repeatedly contacted them.
Alabama and Bhabie’s Beef sparked a series of dissident tracks, starting with Bhabie’s “Over Cooked”. Alabama then released “Cry Bhabie,” to which Bhabie responded with “Ms. Whitman.” The feud seemed to fizzle out over time.

Bhabie is also experiencing a health battle, as she announced in late 2024 that she was battling blood cancer.
“I’m sorry for losing weight due to my cancer medication,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “I’m slowly gaining it back. So stop spreading the worst narratives.”
The OnlyFans creator shared an update in February, writing about X that she received “bad news from my doctor yesterday.”
“God has the final say so not my cancer💜,” she added.
Bhabie’s mother has come to the rapper’s defense, claiming her cancer is “karma.”
“Let me say this: Social media has become an app where people think they can come on here and say the most vile things and think it’s funny because they’re hiding behind a screen,” Barbara, 58, said in a 2024 Instagram video. “This is the lowest form of everything. Babies don’t want to get cancer, little kids don’t want to get cancer, older people don’t want to get cancer – nobody wants to get cancer.”
Barbara continued, “Don’t come here with your balls and say, ‘Oh yeah, that’s your karma,’ because maybe it is yours. Never say anything about anyone unless you’ve experienced it yourself. Let me tell you something, play with me every day. Don’t persecute my child. Don’t persecute my family.”
