
Hong Kong police have arrested a 38-year-old man for driving under the influence of drugs after a three-vehicle crash that sent two people to hospital.
Police said they received a report at 1.48pm on Saturday of a traffic accident along Pok Phu Lam Road involving a large truck and two light goods vehicles.
The force said the 38-year-old driver of one of the light goods vehicles failed a drug test carried out at the scene.
He was arrested for drug driving and dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
The 61-year-old driver of the other light goods vehicle and a 59-year-old female passenger were injured during the accident and were sent to Queen Mary Hospital in Pok Phu Lam for treatment.
The force added that the 56-year-old large truck driver also complained of chest pains following the accident, but refused medical treatment.
