Bradley Barkula says winning the Premier League is “one of the biggest dreams of my life” after joining Liverpool for £123m.
The Reds have signed the 23-year-old on a long-term contract as part of a deal worth £106m plus £17m in potential add-ons.
Barkola: “It took a long time but I’m really happy today because I was able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the field and be able to play.” Liverpool said.

Barkola had two years remaining on his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, but made it clear he would not extend his stay with the European champions and was left out of the Ligue 1 opener against Rennes, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Barkula mostly plays on the left wing but can play on the opposite flank. He faced competition for the places of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Du last season, and was often used from the bench during the latter stages of PSG’s Champions League win.
Barkola made 49 appearances in all competitions during the 2025/26 season, contributing 13 goals and seven assists as Paris Saint-Germain retained the Ligue 1 title and continued their success in Europe.
The Lyon academy product scored 39 goals and made 37 assists in 152 appearances for his former club.
Barkola also played a key role for France in the 2026 World Cup, making all eight appearances and scoring three goals.
The move could also have consequences for Cody Jacobo, who has been linked with Tottenham all summer and has attracted interest from Manchester City.
Liverpool have identified Barkula as their main target to replace Mohamed Salah, who left Anfield at the end of last season.
When does the 2026 summer transfer window end?
The window opened on Monday, June 15 and will close on Tuesday, September 1.

The Premier League winter transfer window begins on Friday, January 1, 2027 and ends on Monday, February 1, 2027 at 23:00 GMT.
