Brooke Hogan seems to disagree with her brother Nick Hogan and his perception of their current relationship after her father’s death, Hulk Hoganlast year.
After Nick, 36, spoke about Brooke, 38, in an interview with TV Insider This was posted on Friday August 28th, she responded with her own opinion.
“I have made a conscious decision to keep the details of my relationship with my brother private,” Brooke said exclusively Us later on Friday. “I would appreciate the same courtesy in return. We are not in communication and his characterization of our relationship does not reflect my experience.”
She added: “My privacy should not be confused with an agreement.”
In the interview, Nick praised his sibling, telling the outlet, “I’m so proud of Brooke. I’m so excited about everything she’s up to.”
He continued: “She’s just a phenomenal interior designer. She’s got this business that she started and she just did a new TV show. Rock the blockand she was fantastic at it.”
Nick claimed he was “excited” for Brooke and the positive things she is experiencing in her life.
“This is just a really exciting time for her. She had twins. She got married,” Nick said. “We’re just really excited about everything that’s happening for them. I’m so proud of them and you know, everyone’s doing really well. My mom (Linda Hogan) is doing great at the moment. My whole family has been so supportive of everything we do. So we’re in a really good position.”

Before his death, Brooke was estranged from her father for several years. She told Us in April that the broken connection with her father also had an impact on her relationship with her brother.
“The saddest thing about broken families is the siblings,” Brooke said Us at the time. “Siblings suffer the most because you’re always forced to take sides. Nick and I, even though we had the same parents, had two very different upbringings and two very different experiences. That’s one thing my parents always said: ‘You’re siblings, you always have to support each other.’ No matter what trouble my brother gets into, no matter what he does or who he is, that’s my brother.”
She added: “Even though we don’t talk – because I didn’t feel supported by him at times when I really needed it, sometimes I feel like he saw the same thing as me and didn’t want to form a united front, that’s what hurts me the most – but my brother is a very kind person. He’s very smart. He loves animals. There’s just so many great things about him and so many things that I love.”
