Nottingham Forest manager Oliver Glasner described his side’s defeat to his former club Crystal Palace as “karma”.
Forest were beaten 3-1 in Glasner’s first return to Selhurst Park since leaving Palace in the summer after leading him to glory in the FA Cup and Conference League.
Dan Ndoye opened the scoring for the guests for the first five minutes, and for the next 35 minutes the traffic was one-way.
Liam Delap wasted two great opportunities to extend the gap before Palace equalized through Daichi Kamada.
The comeback was completed before half-time when Jefferson Lerma slotted home a corner kick, while Jeremi Beno got the points shortly before the hour mark.

Glassner gives reaction to the “crazy” game.
Speaking after the match, Glasner admitted his side had failed to “finish the game”, but insisted his players “did everything” to try and achieve a positive result.
“We did not decide the game and we should have done so, by creating many chances,” Glasner said.
“I’ve played a lot of games here (Selhurst Park) and I’ve never seen a team create so many chances.
“In the end, we didn’t score them. We conceded two goals before half-time and then had two big chances but then conceded a slapstick goal and were 3-1 down.
“Today it seems that I alone am responsible for it, call it karma or whatever, but it seems that I did not deserve to win at Selhurst Park because the players did everything. Nobody can be blamed for anything, the effort was there and the quality was there.
“This performance will give us confidence even if the result seems strange. A crazy match but for us it is important not only to look at the result.”
Forest is preparing to visit defending champions Arsenal on Sunday, while Palace travels to France to play Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday before facing Brighton in the so-called M23 derby next weekend.
