Borussia Dortmund 3-2 Villarreal
Serho Guirassi’s double in the final 10 minutes of the match gave Borussia Dortmund an entertaining win over Villarreal, with the striker also scoring an own goal in a crazy match.
A Renato Vega own goal gave Borussia Dortmund the lead in the first half, but Villarreal equalized in the 66th minute through Santiago Moreno, but Guirassi made himself the hero with the winning brace – the second coming from a penalty kick.
Geraci then turned the ball into his own net in a strange way to give the Yellow Submarine hope late, but the Bundesliga team was able to hold on and achieve victory.
Little 2-3 Real Betis
Troy Parrott was the hero again for Real Betis as the Spanish side twice came from behind to win 3-2 in the Champions League.
Lille took the lead twice with goals from Ayasi Ueda and Alexandru, but Marc Bartra equalized both times with headers before the hosts were down to 10 men after Ethan Mbappe was sent off.
Parrott then came up with another decisive moment, just as he did against Real Madrid at the weekend, drilling in from an Isco ball to complete Real Betis’ comeback and seal a huge win in their first Champions League match since 2005-06.
AEK Athens 1-0 LASK
AEK Athens beat LASK 1-0 in their remaining Champions League match on Tuesday, with Razvan Marin producing the decisive moment in the 21st minute with a stunning free-kick from outside the penalty area into the top corner.
AEK largely controlled the game after taking the lead, while Luka Jovic had several chances and scored in the second half, but his header was ruled out for offside.
LASK pressed for a late equalizer and came close to equalizing in stoppage time, but AIK held on to secure three valuable points in their return to the Champions League.
