The incredible summer transfer window has finally ended, but there are still a host of big stars available for transfers.
The likes of Jadon Sancho, Paul Pogba and Raheem Sterling are not signed to any club and are freely available to any team, be it in the Premier League or elsewhere, that is willing to take a penalty.

Spaniard Sergio Rico is without a club after finishing his two-year spell in Qatar with Al-Gharafa. Before that, Rico spent five years as a substitute at Paris Saint-Germain and also played for Sevilla and Fulham.
Right-back: Dani Carvajal (34)
A legendary figure at both Real Madrid and Spain, Dani Carvajal kept Trent Alexander-Arnold out of the team for most of last season, and would certainly be an astute addition at right-back for the club.
Centre-back: Sergio Ramos (40)
His former Real Madrid teammate of several years is also available, with Sergio Ramos last playing football in 2025 for Monterrey. The four-time Champions League winner has yet to announce his retirement, so technically he is still an available free agent.

Yves Bissouma was considered one of the Premier League’s brightest midfielders when he joined Tottenham for £30m in 2022, but he left north London as a free agent after a difficult 2025-26 season that saw them narrowly avoid relegation.
Right wing: Riyad Mahrez (35)
Riyad Mahrez scored two goals for Algeria in the World Cup, but he is now without a club after his departure from Al-Ahly. The former Manchester City and Leicester City star will go down as one of the Premier League’s greatest ever wingers, but he may now lack the dynamism and guile needed to undercut his form in England.
Striker: Karim Benzema (38)
After being replaced by Ollie Watkins at Al Hilal, it remains to be seen whether Karim Benzema will extend his successful playing career which saw him win the Ballon d’Or in 2022.
Left wing: Jadon Sancho (26)
If you were Jadon Sancho in 2021 when he joined Manchester United for £73m, a free agent after just five years, he might think twice before making the move. Sancho has failed to impress enough not only at Old Trafford but also on loan at Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Aston Villa, but there is still time to revive his career.
