Harry Kane has confirmed that he is set to begin talks with Bayern Munich over extending his contract.
England captain Kane has enjoyed three very prolific seasons with Bayern since his move from Tottenham in 2023.
He scored 146 goals in 147 matches for Die Roten, winning two German League titles and a DFB-Pokal crown in his time with the club.
The 33-year-old’s contract is set to expire at the end of next season, and while Kane insisted he and the club remain calm about the situation, he revealed that discussions will begin in the near future.
“I only have one year left on my contract, so it’s time to talk about it,” Keane said.
“We’ll talk about it next week or the week after. Both sides are very comfortable.”
Bayern faces Dortmund in the German Super Cup on Saturday before opening its German League campaign against Stuttgart the following Friday.
