Another busy night in the UEFA Nations League saw Wales take on Denmark and the Netherlands take on Serbia in the tournament Nations League Section A.

Wales 0-1 Denmark
Wales suffered a tough 1-0 defeat against Denmark in Cardiff, with Rasmus Hoglund scoring the only goal from a penalty kick.
Danny Ward made several important saves but was penalized in the 73rd minute after mistaking a pass and colliding with Gustav Isaksen, allowing Hoylund to convert from 12 yards.
Craig Bellamy’s side pushed for an equalizer but could not find a way through as Denmark picked up another vital three points, as Wales suffered a third defeat in four UEFA Nations League matches to leave them in danger of relegation from the top flight.

Netherlands 2-1 Serbia
The Netherlands rose to the top of Group A2 after defeating Serbia 2-1 at Philips Stadium. Virgil van Dijk opened the scoring in his 100th international appearance, but Mihailo Cvetkovic quickly restored parity for the visitors.
Joshua Zirkzee then scored the winner in the second half to maintain the Netherlands’ unbeaten run under new coach Xavi Hernandez.
Kosovo 1-1 Austria
Kosovo and Austria shared the points with a 1-1 draw in the second group. The result means that Austria maintained its unbeaten record after four matches, having previously beaten Israel and Kosovo before drawing with Ireland.
Meanwhile, Kosovo picked up a useful point after defeats to Austria and Ireland.
Malta 1-0 Andorra
Malta recorded another win in League D, defeating Andorra 1-0. The result keeps Malta firmly in contention for the top spot in Group D1 after earlier beating Andorra and drawing with Gibraltar.
Azerbaijan 1-0 Lithuania
Azerbaijan beat Lithuania 1-0 to achieve their first win in the UEFA Nations League. After drawing with Lithuania and Liechtenstein in their first two matches, the victory gives Azerbaijan a big boost in Group D2.
