Social media is paying tribute to many influencers who passed away in 2026.
While recording a private New Year’s Eve livestream, Sergio Jimenez died at the age of 37. Days later content creator Athira Auni died on January 3rd at the age of 21 after a motorcycle accident.
In February, Chinnu Papu died by suicide at the age of 24. In March Dominika “Mina” Elischerova, David Alejandro Peláez Marín – known online as Alejo Little – Rachel Tussey And Wang Weiqian everyone died. Next month influencer Zepa died at the age of 26, Carlos Filhar died at the age of 48 and Mara Flavia died aged 38 and hiking influencer Ali Leiniö died at the age of 49.
In May, the TikTok sensation Patriotic Kenny died at the age of 84 after a battle with stage 4 lung cancer. Later this month Mexican influencer Paola Marquez Was found dead in her apartment about a possible suicide.
In June, Yu-Gi-Oh! Content creator Alex Cimo died at the age of 32 after a long battle with stage 4 colon cancer. Later that month, Scary Mommy was founded Jill Smoker Died after diagnosis of glioblastoma and cooking influencer Joel Yukich died after a “medical event.” Soon after, Gaby Sanarrucia Chavarria was reportedly shot in her home.
Influencers Laura Viktoria Härtig died July 12 at age 30 after being involved in a head-on bicycle collision during her honeymoon. Later this month Brazilian influencer Odysseus Marcellus and her boyfriend Vinicius Souza de Carvalho were found dead in a suspected shooting. Influencers Michael Selwood was also found dead on July 19th.
