Trump is ‘happy’ for Prince Harry and Meghan to leave the US: ‘I wasn’t a fan’ G trends

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he was “glad” that Prince Harry and his family had left the United States and returned to Britain.

“I’m happy about it. I wasn’t a fan,” Trump said in the Oval Office when asked about the recent decision by Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, to leave California after six years.

The family returned to Britain at the end of August. The couple stepped down from their official royal duties in 2020 when they moved to the United States.

“I thought they were treating the royal family with a lot of disrespect. I didn’t like that,” Trump said, referring to his “good relationship” with the late Queen Elizabeth and her successor, King Charles, who is undergoing treatment for cancer.

The president criticized Meghan specifically. “I didn’t like the way she acted. I thought it was terribly disrespectful,” he said.
